I have been in Education for over 29 years and am thrilled to be continuing in my second year as the learning leader in Buffalo Trail Public Schools. I have a passion for rural education and most of my teaching and leadership experiences have been in rural school divisions. I have taught a variety of subject areas from Kindergarten to Grade 12, have been a principal of two K-12 rural schools and most recently worked as an Assistant Superintendent in Grasslands Public Schools.
After completing Grade 12, I attended Northern Montana State College on a volleyball scholarship. I have a Bachelor of Education and Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. My journey of learning will continue in BTPS, as we are committed to maximizing student learning, in a safe and caring environment, supported by a highly effective team.
My husband, Leny, and I have two children. Our daughter, Jae-Ann, is a teacher. Our son, Leyton, is playing junior hockey in Melfort, SK.
