Schools: Kitscoty Elementary, Kitscoty Jr/Sr High and E.H. Walter

I have been an educator for 36 years. I began my teaching career in a southern town in Saskatchewan named Climax. It was a rural community school,  Grades 1-9. It was there I began coaching various sports teams.  This is something I have loved to do and continue to do so to this day. 

I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Education degree. Other then three years of teaching in Saskatchewan, I spent my teaching career in Buffalo Trail Public Schools at E.H. Walter School in Paradise Valley. I loved teaching in rural Alberta. I have many fond memories of my students, the staff, and teams I coached. I retired from teaching in 2012. 

I was elected as a trustee of the Buffalo Trail Public Schools in 2022. It’s my honour to work for the overall governance and development of goals and policies that guide Buffalo Trail Public Schools.
