I was born and raised in the small town of Raymore, Saskatchewan where I learned and lived the true value of Rural Education.

I have resided in Vermilion AB for the past 25 years and am a strong believer of the importance of rural education, as students are our future leaders. 

I am a proud mom of three grown children and five wonderful grandchildren who have and are still attending the public school. 

I have my Diploma in Business Administration, Certificate in Office Administration, and I am currently enrolled in a UofC course in Governance. I believe in lifelong learning and have completed many additional educational opportunities. I worked in Education for 23 years and now in Health Care for the past four years. This experience has helped me see the educational and health care needs for our students when making important decisions.

I believe public schools are the first choice of our communities, as we welcome “all” students and strive to provide them the best education in a caring environment. 

I am proud to have been elected as a Trustee and will continue to support and advocate for the best education possible for all students.

With passion and thankfulness, I promise to work hard and continue the important work you have entrusted in me! We as educators, parents, grandparents, and community members all want the best for the children in our communities and together we can succeed!
