I am from a small rural farming town in Manitoba, where both my parents were educators. After graduation I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree, then a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary.

I have had the opportunity to work with the Blue Quills University, Native Counseling Services, Child and Family Services, as well as Alberta Health Services engaging with many diverse families and individuals.

My passion and excitement for rural education continues to grow as my 3 children learn in our Division. 

I enjoy and embrace any opportunity given to advocate and promote rural education in Alberta and specifically in our Division.

It is my honor to serve as a trustee in Buffalo Trail Public Schools beginning in 2021. I am so proud of our staff, students and stakeholders who together make BTPS an exceptional Division for our students to learn.
